1. Who we are
Clariwise is a service to organize personal finances and shared expenses from bank statements. For any question about your data, write to us at [email protected].
2. What data we keep
Your account data (name, email and, if you sign in with Google, its identifier), your preferences (language, country, currency and time zone), the statements you upload (the PDF and the transactions extracted from it), what you record in the app (categories, splits, groups, people you share expenses with, manual transactions and comments) and technical access and security logs.
3. What we use it for
Only to provide the service: reading your statements, suggesting how to categorize transactions, calculating your finances and the balances with the people you share expenses with, sending you account emails (access codes and notices) and giving you support when you ask for it. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
4. Who we share it with
With the providers we need to operate, who process it on our behalf: the artificial intelligence provider that reads statements and suggests categories, the infrastructure provider where the app and the database run, and the email provider. What you split in a group is visible to the other people in that group.
5. How we protect it
Everything travels encrypted (HTTPS), saved PDF passwords are stored encrypted, and the support team can only see your account if you allow it, with every action logged and visible to you.
6. How long we keep it
For as long as you have your account. If you delete it, your personal data is deleted; what you shared with other people is anonymized, so their balances don't change.
7. Your rights
You can request access to your data, correct it, take it with you (we send you a file with your transactions and statements) or delete your account, under Chilean Laws 19.628 and 21.719. Write to us at [email protected] from your account's email.
8. Cookies
The app only uses the cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your language. This site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change it, we publish the new version here with its date and, if the change is significant, we let you know in the app or by email.
